My background is in entertainment journalism. For years, I've interviewed artists about their work, their process and the ideas that drive them. That experience trained me to hear what's compelling in a conversation before the person speaking knows it's there.
I bring that instinct into my work here: helping artists identify what's most distinctive about their work and giving them the language to say it clearly.
You don't need a press interview on the calendar to benefit from knowing your story. But when one comes, or when a journalist, booker or playlist curator asks, you'll be ready.
There's a moment in almost every interview I've done when an artist says something offhand — a throwaway line, a half-finished thought — and I think: that's the story.
They never lead with it. They don’t even know it’s the most interesting thing about them. They’ve been too close to the work for too long.
That moment is what I built this service around.
